At PS 129Q, we are committed to academic excellence and cultivating the belief that all Children Can.  Every student and community member is seen, valued, and celebrated.  Rooted in kindness and respect, our nurturing learning environment empowers students to thrive through their unique strengths.  With high-quality teaching and an appreciation for cultural diversity, our students graduate ready to excel and make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

Providing high-quality, grade-level instruction with supports tailored to students’ strengths and unique learning needs.
Offering enrichment programs and clubs that encourage students to discover new interests.
Maintaining clear, consistent communication with families as valued partners in every child’s learning journey.
Hosting family workshops and school events that promote academic success and social-emotional growth.
Implementing school-wide SEL lessons and positive behavior expectations to ensure all students feel safe, respected, and a sense of belonging.

Middle School Applications deadline is Friday, December 12th

What you can do now:
• If you have submitted your child’s application, their middle school offer will be released in April 2025.
• If you have not created your child’s MySchools account, please use the instructions on the welcome letter you received to create the account.
• Once you have created the account, please submit your child’s application. You will know you submitted your child's application correctly on MySchools if a blue screen appears congratulating you. You will also receive an email from MySchools confirming you have submitted the application. If this does not occur, you have not submitted the application and only saved your choices.
Please reach out to Danielle Pisanti (School Counselor) and/or Debbie Calderon (Parent Coordinator) if you need help with creating the account and/or submitting the application.

Apply to Kindergarten

Kindergarten Enrollment

Beginning December 9th, children born in 2021 can apply to kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year.
The application deadline is Friday, January 23, 2026. All families who apply by the deadline will receive a kindergarten offer in April.
